Indeed.
Frankly, I'm a 4-2-3-1 appreciator as it is, and have always thought 4-3-3 is a tough system to make work.

In agree with several of your points, sadly the situation is no longer as binary as it might've been in, say, late October.
Funny thing is, I was pretty much Ange out in Oct/Nov but then moved back because I thought that the performances showed that the players were playing for him. Even as recently as the defeats against Forest and Saudi Sportswashing Machine I thought that zero points could easily have been six barring poor officials and great GK performances (Sels). Bit the last three games have been Tamworth and today (no words needed) and a NLD in which we looked timid and were outfought and out muscled (again) by a frankly pretty poor Arsenal. That’s 300 mins in which I’ve not seen an ounce of fight from our players. Even allowing for injuries and fatigue, a lack of application is - in my view - the most unforgivable sin that a professional athlete (or indeed any professional) can exhibit because it makes defeat inevitable.

Many times we’ve mocked Everton over the years and laughed at them and said they’re lucky there have been three worse teams than them in the league. Well, now it’s our turn. Will we show as much fight as those rubbish Everton sides did?

One thing.
Whatever your views and opinions are, they should be respected. If anyone feels patronised by an opinion I express, I apologise for that as it is not my intent at all. Equally, I'll fervently discuss and debate my perspectives and opinions. Those who have known me for a while around here will surely know it isn't personal or intended to make people feel slighted. I am no smarter than anyone, but I am certainly no dumber either. Like us all, I just want this current Hotspur tide to change.
All we have left is balanced, respectful debate. Let’s hope we don’t lose that by throwing insults around!

Is it at all possible that he is trying not to break the only senior CF we actually have fit for the forseeable future and is asking our captain to step the fudge up? And let's call it - once again, said skipper failed. Two great chances -one he should'ver fudging buried BTW. Is that on Postecoglu? Look, I get it...everyone thinks he needs to go now, but seriously mate...
Missed chances happen Steff, Son in particular can be like that. But if we hadn't conceded so easily we might have been in a better position to build. He and Maddison are not the reason we lost today. Plenty of people trying not to blame the manager will say they were. I'm afraid I don't subscribe to that view.

I don't feel patronize by you.

I like chatting to most people on Here and it also nice to make me see things from others view points and sometimes stops me from having a mega meltdown!!

The board, Munn (assuming he is the guy now) and Levy have a decision to make, either let Ange go now or seriously back him with a forward and a DM. As we are does not work, something has to change and even with all our players DM is still an issue, and not one that an 18yr old can fix consistently

I've read that before as well, but not sure if it is actually true. If so - what is he so busy doing?
Poch stopped taking training. He actually asked for video cameras to be installed so be could watch videos of training and the club said no
Poch wanted to distance himself more from the players than he had previously

I don’t take get how any manager would make that work but I don’t think it’s as uncommon as we may think
However it’s definitely odd to people like us

Could start by recalling Philips as I suspect we will remain short of CBS all season

I've tried my hardest to stay the course, but it just keeps getting worse and worse and he seems more and more unable to first implement his system properly and now stem the tide.

There are just numerous for me really obvious issues that he's never been able to address. The lack of any defensive stability, the ease at which we concede really silly goals, the constant overloads on either flank. The stubbornness to actually play a LB even to our own detriment. An inability to realise that slow heavy possession and wide men of the Son at his current stage and Johnson just isn't going to cut it. I'm sorry to say but he probably needs to go.

It's weird because I've really wanted him to work, it has felt close at times but over time it's drifted further and further out and there just to be an inability on his part to take stock, read the room and adapt to his circumstances. His ideals are grand but they do need a very high calibre of player to successful enact his system and we just don't have those players.

The results are just getting worse and worse.

We need a whole lot more than a DM and Forward.

We need two wingers and 2 CBs to go along with that.

We actually have a winger that we haven't even used yet, in Yang. Yet he plays the other South Korean whos career is fading quicker than Arianna Grandes fake tan on the set of Wicked.

We have lost all of the games since Yang has been on board because he probably isn't ready, but we used more than ready players in those games and they failed, so why not try something new.

I have no sympathy for Anges current situation, yet I hate where we are as we are simply the laughing stock of world football and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Yeah I think a lot of managers set up training plans alongside their coaching teams and then leave their coaches to do various sessions. It's a more modern thing I think
