It's funny he says Sturridge and AVB dont get on but there is no proof of this. In fact Sturridge seems liked one of the only Chelsea players to praise AVB

Lennon is too goal shy

in the 4-2-3-1 system, Lennon is the weakest at scoring out of all the attackers. With one striker, the 3 behind need to contribute big time. Bale, Sigurdsson, and Sturridge would offer plenty of goals

Really dont agree with this. 4-2-3-1 is arguably what we've been playing for the last year or two. Its precisely the same in terms of personnel - Ade up top with VdV just behind him, Bale and Lennon out wide with Modric and Parker/Sandro in CM. Therefore there is no greater need for Lennon to score more if we play 4-2-3-1 compared to last season - its really no different.

Where things do change is if you move from 4-2-3-1 to play 4-3-3 with 3 proper midfielders - then you need to be careful with the amount of goal threat that you have as you're replacing one of your front 4 with a midfielder. You then either need a CM with the goalscoring record of say Lampard or you need all 3 forwards to contribute meaningfullly to goal threat

Id imagine it would be £30-35m. He will come back from the Olympics as top goalscorer. We wont pay that. We need to move on and quickly. Or just pay a lot of money!

I think the whole £47m from the Inter fella is just them posturing, If Leandro goes back, tells them he wants out to Spurs, then Levy should be able to work that down to the previously quoted €20m. Unless they have a chairman like ours.... then we're fudged.
