Wouldnt want Carroll. Not good enough for the first 11. Not the sort of player you want hanging around board and with too much time and money on his hands.

relax mate, also think that Carroll is by no means a AVB kind of player, thank fu** Harry is gone, else we would be buying Carroll and keeping all deadwood
 
In fact the more I think about it, the more i like the idea of Berbatov-- Berbatov and VDV (or another) combination would work really well. Berbatov has something to prove having missed out on regular first team football. And although he is 31 his game was never built on pace.. more on very long shirt sleeves and looking moody...

Ade's more mobile and is better at linking up play. For more Llorente is actually more in the Carroll direction (though clearly 10 times better).

Ade would also be about £20m cheaper and they are the same age, would be on less wages (due to City's likely subsidies) and they are essentially of the same calibre.
