Vertonghen at The lane Today according to Mumorn, JJset and more importantly Ajax.

Rumours of Remy coming on Tuesday to have a look at the club but he came off injured tonight. He is having a scan tomorrow.

It would be great, but very unSpurs-like, to get our targets in early. Great news that Vert was at the game though, hopefully with a signed contract in front of him!

Modric was done before the final ball had been kicked of the previous season, so it is not beyond the realms of possibility
 
Would be great to have Vertonghen in the bag as you would have thought it would mean that our CBs are therefore sorted for next year: Vertonghen, Dawson, Kaboul, Gallas, Caulker and perhaps King with Uvini in the background or out on loan

Can then concentrate on the big job of sorting our CFs out!!

Thats 7 and Thats still too many CBs for me. We need stability. We need 3 top fit center backs ( Kaboul, Vertonghen, and buy another one) and two young back ups (Caulker-Uvini)

I think he has a few more years on Gallas (ok Toure may not be 30 and 50 but lets go with 30). He has won a few things and could be a Gallas type signing. I dont think Gallas will be stayin next season.

I also suggested it based on us not getting Vertonghen (which im not certain about)
 
Do you really think Caulker will sit on the bench? He has already said if he cannot break into the squad he will be looking to move.
 
Would really like the rat faced Croats situation sorted out this summer. Either come out and tell us that you want to play for the club that has made you or sell him.
