Inter Milan stalwart Dejan Stankovic is on the shopping list of West Ham, as Sam Allardyce looks to ready his squad for the top flight.

The 33-year-old Serbia midfielder is in the final year of his contract with Inter after an astonishing period of success since joining the Serie A club in 2004.

Stanky bagged five Serie A titles and a Champions League winner medal – but the chances of him adding to his medal haul with the Hammers are slim. And he'll probably struggle to get a work permit.

No such problems anticipated for Allardyce as he seeks a loan deal for Stamford Bridge outcast striker Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgian cost Chelsea an eye-watering £17m in August last year – and so far he's managed one start.

Because people take the itk to the transfer discussion thread to discuss it. Leading to the ITK ending up there anyway..

Anyway, Do we have any reliable peeps chatting about siggurdsson (sp?)?

Looks like Spurs have won the race about Gylfi. I heard from a source on sunday that LFC were back in the mix but Spurs seem to have won.

But this means nothing - how has this fella come to this conclusion - from looking at a couple of other bogus Twitter Feeds - or from speaking to the player or his agent?

Taking it there afterwards is ok though, they just don't want any ITK to get lost in the spam and not make it into the RO.

Some of his replies to 'pool fans indicate he has heard it through his sources in Iceland, whoever they might be. So yes totally unconfirmed.

Anyway I'll believe it when it appears on the official Spurs website, 1 hour after Sky break the news.

I'm sure most people here have enough experience with transfer rumours to understand this. Those that don't surely will learn soon enough.

I for one appreciate people taking the time to copy paste rumours in here, especially when they link to or name the source.

Read a bit about him, and saw a youtube video (for what it's worth) when we were linked a week or two back. Looks as though he could be a decent buy for West Ham if there's any truth in it.

£60m-£65m spent? Cant see how we'll afford that....we're probably looking at £10m -£15m net arent we? That means you'd have to sell £50m of players!
 
He probably didnt give money to Redknapp because he didnt want brick like fudging phil neville and jonas olsson

Well we've already sold 15m? kranjcar and corluka? no?

I assume in his team we'd have sold vdv, that' another 15m.

Bassong? Dos Santos? Danny Rose? Would BAE be happy playing second fiddle? jenas? bentley?



Not too far off 10-15m net spend with 70m spent on players if you ask me.. though me estimates on player worths might be a little high.
