Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

To modify myself slightly... They are hilarious at the moment, but they're also just 5 points behind us and definitely in the fight for 4th as things stand now. They could potentially have the last laugh at the end of the season and Klopp has shown that their team at least has potential. Also a very real chance that they make some moves in January that could strengthen them.

I wonder if we draw away to Watford will there be fans calling it two points dropped?

When you look at the table, Watford have lost all their games against teams above them and are unbeaten against teams below them. So of course they beat Liverpool. And of course, they will lose against us ;)

Until you jinxed it with that post ;)

Without a pre season under Klopp working on the stamina they will need to keep the high intensity pressing he likes going, I would expect Liverpool to fade rather than get stronger.

Different league, and really only one club to compete with fiscally (Dortmund actually has best attendance numbers for last 10 years of any german club)

My concern with Klopp is the emotion level, he seems on the edge, the interview after Watford he looked like brick ... I think the media will turn on him and I don't see anything to suggest he will be able to deal with the wolves that are English media.

Yep, totally agree. AVB 2.

it's early days, you can't change anything at a football club over night, Liverpool are gonna be the same defensive and unbalanced shambles all season no matter what he does

I'd be wary of judging him until the end of next season, he's already proven his ability

hopefully the impatient racist swampdwellers up there will hound him out before then, just like they normally do

Hopefully these arrogant qunts (i mean their fans on RAWK) will lose against Sunderland and remain in the lofty position of 10th in the league.

Dortmund did not just regress to the mean based on financial might under Klopp. They overspent significantly 15-ish years back and struggled with the debt from that well into Klopp reign at the club. They didn't spend much money in the transfer market and worked on a limited wage budget.

His performance at Mainz is just as impressive.

It is a different league. And based on what we've seen from Mourinho and LvG this season it's obvious that no one is a guaranteed success in any league. But Klopp is a hugely talented manager.

He was on the edge emotionally at Dortmund too. It's how he operates. The English media might turn on him, but the question is rather how the Liverpool fans respond. If they continue to like him it doesn't matter much what the national media is saying as it will all fit into the conspiracy theory etc...

Final sentence for me too. Just hope they get enough fluctuations and get rid of him. If given time to figure out the club and the league I think he's likely as likely to find success there as just about any manager in the world would be.
