Transfer speculation

I have never noticed this boy, but Boro were hardly a must watch side last season, could he perform in a team where he didn't have at least 5 players trying to protect him? Any defender we bring in must be comfortable with the ball and be prepared to move forward with it, we do not want or need the typical British centrebacks who want to pass 10 yards sideways 3 or 4 times before punting it up field.

They weren't a punt it forward side though by any means and they tried to play decent football

The issue was the real lack of any creative quality anywhere in the side

Gibson for me reminds a bit of Terry in the way he plays

No offence but he can pass and looked very tidy especially playing in a poor side.

None taken, as I said I didn't watch Boro' it was a question. If he is the right type I would be pleased to get him. My views on centrebacks have been coloured by years of seeing neanderthals like Shaw cross being considered as international prospects.

Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez wants £500,000-a-week in wages to join Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports.

The Daily Mirror claims that his astronomical wage demands have given Emirates Marketing Project some hope of still landing the Chilean.

City have already lost out once to PSG this summer when Dani Alves chose to join the Ligue 1 club instead of Pep Guardiola’s side and they are determined it won’t happen again.
The City hierarchy are hoping that his wage demands will price PSG out of the race, giving the Manchester side a clean run at Sanchez.

Bayern Munich already reportedly dropped out earlier this month when he demanded £420,000-a-week from the Bundesliga outfit in return for his services.

The report continues by saying that City believe Sanchez is a back-up option in case they don’t manage to sign Neymar – who they are linked with a £199million move for.

PSG are willing to pay £40million to Arsenal for Sanchez – who only has a year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium – with the French side hoping that the Gunners reluctance to sell to a Premier League club will work in their favour.

£199million for Neymar. I know it's Neymar. But football will have reached truly obscene levels if that comes to pass. It's beyond justification.

From wiki: "Aurier continued to be in the right position until he was suspended indefinitely on 14 February 2016 for calling teammate Ángel Di María a "clown" and calling Blanc a "fiotte" (a homophobic slur) during a question-and-answer session on Periscope in which he also criticised supposed favouritism towards striker Zlatan Ibrahimović.[56][57] Following his suspension, PSG ordered Aurier to train with their reserve side from 29 February until 20 March"

Sounds like a nice chap who would be great for team spirit...
Sounds like a Cheatski player.
