The General Transfer Rumours and Speculation Thread

You have to like Poch's honesty, but how smart is it to go out and say you're basically going to offload a few players? I imagine we'd be able to wrangle more money out of potential buyers if they didn't already know that we want to sell.

I'm a bit miffed that Pritch never got a chance. It all seemed so rosy when he signed that contract extension a bit over a year ago.

Glad to hear N'jie is still in our plans though. Would be sad to see him go so early. Lad has potential.

Windy said he was injured (re Australia).

I think, now he's over 21 so needs to be counted in the squad, it's probably time to make a permanent decision on him.

On of my mates is a Rotherham fan. He said he's a good all action midfielder in the Alli, mould, but probably lacks the awareness/vision for the top flight. They'd be very pleased to have him back though.
 
11 things that will happen in the summer transfer window (probably)

1. Ed Woodward will pay way over the odds for Paul Pogba, despite there being no other bidders!
2. Arsenal are desperately in need of a solid, no nonsense centre back, and a world class striker, so Arsene Wenger will go out and buy players 'with potential'.
3. Liverpool need a left back... so the famed Anfield 'transfer committee' will probably try to sign Southampton's for £27m.
4. Emirates Marketing Project will sign John Stones for £50m, with the England defender following in the footsteps of previous big money centre back signings Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi... so that bodes well!
5. Chelsea will send 73 players on loan, mostly to Vitesse Arnhem.
6. Tottenham will have difficulty trying to sell Nacer Chadli, largely because Daniel Levy wants to make a £10 million profit.
7. Stoke will sign a Barcelona player once touted as a wonderkid, let's say Christian Tello, for £20m.
8. Riyad Mahrez will get a pay rise from Leicester as a result of playing interest from Arsenal really well.
9. David Moyes will try to sign Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines for Sunderland on transfer deadline day.
10. Moussa Sissoko will be linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich... by himself.
11. Peter Odemwingie will spend the whole of August camped out in the Hull City car park.
