Tottenham Hotspur are once again interested in signing
Wissam Ben Yedder, according to French media outlet Canal+,
via the Hertfordshire Mercury, which may see them enter a three-way London battle for the Toulouse star.
Both Arsenal and
West Ham are also said to be considering Ben Yedder, according to one of Canal+'s African football experts, Ludo Deroin, as reported by
Get French Football News.
The Toulouse forward has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with reports earlier in the year
from the likes of the Mirror suggesting Tottenham held a serious interest in the Frenchman.
Since then,
Spurs spent a decent amount of money on Netherlands international Vincent Janssen, who is very much a like for like replacement for main man Harry Kane.
However, neither forward are renowned for their pace, and that is something that Ben Yedder has in abundance.
The 25-year-old netted 23 goals in 41 matches last season, his best ever campaign, and the forward has 71 goals in four seasons as a first choice player for the Ligue 1 outfit.
West Ham have been looking for a top class striker to join their squad for much of the summer, which has seen a plethora of players linked and several disappointing no-goes.
Ben Yedder, a target just last week say the
Guardian, may represent an excellent option for Slaven Bilic's side, as they look to add a proven goalscorer to compliment Andy Carroll.
They may also have a chance of beating Spurs to the player's signature if they can offer first-team football to Ben Yedder, who would surely revel at being on the end of Dimitri Payet's creativity.
Arsenal's interest stems from their inability to secure the signing of other attacking targets, with a long-term injury to Danny Welbeck impacting their forward ranks.
