Lloris or Julio Cesar? I know which one i'd rather have.

I guess Lloris is not exactly top priority but considering his age and quality it is, and will be a great signing if it comes off. A typical Levy type purchase if there was one.

As for The Lion of Bilbao. No brainer for me but we are definitely 3rd in that list of 3 clubs if they do choose to go for him. Ideally RVP to Utd, Suarez to Juv (contracts mean nothing), and Llorrente to Spurs.

OK, after those two is there any other players whose name begins with two L's we can buy?

Agree with that. Its different to someone at the start of the Lloris comments though saying that, on the basis of Kaboul's comments, you could assume that a price has been agreed.

if a price had been agreed im sure everyone would have known about it

In New York, Tony Parks said he has watched Lloris since he was 16 and is a big fan. He said they'd like to get him in, but if it doesn't happen he's more than happy with Freidal. He called Brad a "7 out of 10 every week" keeper.

Not very tactful, eh Tony?

Wonder how AVB sees Dawson fitting into his plans. Doesn't strike me as an AVB type player, bit slow and likes the long ball a tad too much. (Although I know some dispute this on the stats). Don't get me wrong, I think he has turned in some amazing performances, and appears to be a really nice lad with it. But not sure that AVB would fancy a Dawson, Verts centre back pairing, and wonder if he might be a surprising departure.

Jesus Christ. I sit down with my lunch to read this thread from where i left off earlier this morning. Its starts off with talk about Damiao and Llorente and ends up discussing whether to sign Nicolas f**king bendtner. How bloody desperate are some of you? I'd rather we didn't sign a striker than sign him.

cant see him leaving if he's just been named captain

Equally unlikely to leave if, as rumoured, Gallas and Bassong are on their way out.

If so, we'll be left with Vert, Kaboul, Daws and Caulker as our CBs next season. Relatively light though its 4 CBs who arent either old or (cross fingers) permanently injured

At a stretch I can see Dawson taking King's position as club captain and we have someone else as team captain.

We've already been there ;)
