my feeling is that weve already agreed terms with Moutinho, know the price Porto want to sell him and its agreeable to us, and now everyone is simply waiting for Real to come up with the right offer for Modric

Modric out, Moutinho in will be quick in operation once the green light is given

That would be quite dangerous after the Euro's he had. He will have plenty of admirers and could be persuaded to join another club whilst we're waiting to sell Modric.

lol. Me too. I didn't think it was possible at all, but I just think if we are willing to let Luka go then who knows. A large portion of whatever price we get for Luka will be spent on Moutinho though. But it shouldn't disrupt us too much at all, and may in fact improve us. Love modric as a player though, been an absolute pleasure to see him at the Lane. The little trouble making rascal.

Moutinho only wants to join us, plus I imagine we'd only confirm the Luka move if all contracts with Moutinho/Porto had been signed.

I hope your right. Moutinho in a Spurs shirt would make me scream like a Japanese school girl and I'm pretty certain I can't get that high without serious damage to my boys.
 
Can't believe how many people on here would take Carroll. Has poor positioning, not good with his feet, poor finisher, yes he's strong and wins a lot in the air but he is the definition of a "50p head", the ball could go anywhere. Seen a lot of his "flick ons" go straight up in.the air or back where it came from. Useless lump.

If he's available on the cheap then it would have Arry written all over it. English, looked good on a couple of Match of the Days at the end of the season, get him in. Thought we were looking to move away from these sort of buys? Thankfully AVB dismissed it completely.
