I read your question and my first thought was "Jesus".
No the issue is terminology.
Your terminology is that a goalkeeper should do everything.
Other people think a 'sweeper keeper' is a keeper who should be better at certain attributes to have a desired affect upon the game. (i.e, playing the ball out instead of just hoofing it and losing posession, etc)
Not all goalkeepers are good at all aspects of the game.
Edit: therefore 'we desire' a keeper who has the attributes that have been given to the term 'sweeper keeper'. It's the same as saying you want a midfielder, and somebody else wanting a deep lying playmaker.
