Well not quite. But I do think we are done spending. Maybe a loan deal or two (One forward,One defender?)

Is anyone really surprised. Levy/The Club are incapable of going about transfers in the way other top clubs do. Always trying to drag it out, save a bit of money. Before everyone says 'but that's how you run a business', (a) football isn't like other businesses and (b) the short-term gains are so, so often far outweighed by the potential long term gains of offering a bit more, paying a bit more and spending a bit more to get the player you need to get you to the next stage. Not a lot more, but sometimes a bit more.
Two years ago we were the only team in the Prem who looked like staying with City and United. Two windows later we are in all likelihood in a fight for 5th.
If we gonads the signing of Lloris when (according to OL we were at some sort of 'heads of agreement' stage 4 days ago) we look utter c*nts.
Same old same old. I have a feeling tomorrow will be another disappointing deadline day after Levy has once again postured and pretended to be one of the big boys but then fallen short.

Levy screwed up. He made an offer to Lyon on 26/08/2012 and has now reduced that offer. If I were Lyon I would tell Spurs to sod of too

There are rumours around that Liverpool are trying to sign Llorente. Don't know if true but if they get him he will be EPic for them alongside Suarez

He actually made an offer at the start of the window which Lyon turned down, then they came back to us and wanted to do a deal anyway. Nobody knows exactly where things stand right now.

Used to kick about with a load of Belgian (and Dutch) kids on a Spanish campsite while on holiday with my parents when I were a nipper. They could all speak French pretty fluently.

I wondered whether he reduced it or just restructured it ie spread the payments out over 4 years in order to have more cash now for another deal
Either way, if we screw the Lloris deal up someone needs shooting
Its so rare that you get a free run at an established international with a top company without various other clubs coming in for him

well I just heard an official statement on the radio from Lyon stating that today we offered less money than we did on the 26/08/2012 when they accepted the bid

I predicted that in the afternoon so chill with the old news.
Tomorrows gonna be exciting but i wish AVB didn't have a press conference today so we can still hold hope for some of the players he's dismissed. Out of the lot i think i wanted Remy most but that dream is over.
