I hope this means we have other deals sorted. Otherwise why announce it now and alert other clubs that we are desperate for a Modric replacement. OK, its not exactly secret but there was the possibility we'd force him to stay.

Haha can you imagine if the agreement was that Modric had to be loaned backed to us for this season as we haven't been able to find a suitable replacement yet due them taking all summer to offer the required fee

Last Minute Levy obviously thinks this partnership will justify selling Modric late for a lesser fee with no replacement. These partnerships mean squat-we've got four now and bar Sandro (which I think was beforehand anyway) our sum reward is rubbish friendly matches in the middle of nowhere and Khumalo. cheers. sick of our idiotic transfer "policy".
