If Madrid chuck in Raphael Varane or Sahin + ?ú30M or so for Modric we should go for it (though I think Varane would say he aint interested, Sahin to in all likelihood).

Only if Modric is agitating though, and, only once we've spend most of the money so Bale doesn't throw his toys out and ask to leave as well.

If we could get Sahin (Bundeslega player of the year 2011) and Vertonghen (Dutch player of the year 2012) and ?ú20M for Modric it would be one amazing deal (in theory).

TOTTENHAM boss Harry Redknapp could raid relegated Wolves for striker Steven Fletcher and winger Matt Jarvis.
Molineux say the players are rated at around ?ú10million each.

Spurs are looking at Fletcher as an option if they fail to tie up a deal for Emirates Marketing Project’s Emmanuel Adebayor, who they had on loan last season.
Spurs are also aware they can bring in Saudi Sportswashing Machine’s Demba Ba if they exercise the ?ú7m release clause in his contract.
Redknapp is also an admirer of England winger Jarvis who is anxious to remain in the Premier League.

i think we're in need of a dribbler....someone like Taraabt but better. Modric does well holding the ball and setting up play, but we still need someone to break through defences in a blink of an eye. you know how we look like we're stuck in a rut at the 70th minute with 80% possession 70 shots on goal and still trailing 1-0.

Right then, LOADS of 'ITK' here from

Akqayid on SC

And here we go again

No kaka in sight! Promise.

Beryl - done as of 1am this morning. Lump upfront, lump for appearances and success. GHod knows what else. It's done.

Ratboy - again isn't actually doing anything till after euros. But sounds like wants off. Think it will involve 40m plus players

Bale - Staying.

The monthly comp winner (Ryan N) - off to states

Thudd - maybe loaned out

VdV - Wants to become a 'legend' and loves us like we love him. Ain't going anywhere..... Ever.

French.... Ones out of euros and ones in. Remi is deffo on. No idea on the other!

German.... Penalties anyone? Deffo one BM player.

Brazil - will break the bank for him. Kung fu sandy may hold sway. But all links with Inter will go after this. Kaka..... We actually did try to do this.... Never again

Italy.... Del 'wouldn't even touch
Him with yours son' Perio. Paper talk

Bentley, jenas, Defoe, - possible QPR deal to be had (JD doesn't actually want to go). If not swaps for east Anglian's finest?

Livermore - bright bright future. Trains 'his fudging nuts off'

Harry - tightrope. And as Ryan said. Last year he spoke to them, this year he's spoke from his agent. But just can't see a contract offered for at least 2-5 months

Rodgers - lunch and presented the future for the club.

Joe Cole.....he's been spoken too by HR

AVB - heavily recommended by Jose to Levy

Levy - errrr anyone seen Moneyball? Because he's currently doing it..... 76% of the time, 100% all the time. But wants nothing more than success.

Targets haven't changed since last week. And most.... Last year. There is no 'B' list. It's an 'A'
List..... And HR hasn't a say. So forget the RIO rubbish

Other non us stuff

Porn twins offering Beck's ?ú150k a week to come 'home' to canning town comedy club

Utd signing some U-14 Brazilian kid for 2m in installments - supposedly the new Ronaldo

Tiger woods under microscope by Nike, could be dropped (worth a punt at 8/1)

Luke DOnald just bought a box at WHL for himself

I've signed the next golf super star.... Won't name him yet.

Our new sponsor is Beko

Put his neck on the line with quite a few. Some interesting ones there, IF of course they are even slightly true.

IF Harry's seriously interested in the likes of Rio and Joe Cole? Geezuz

Thank GHod we have Levy.

Ha, yeah - ALTHOUGH, the three or four times I've seen Cole for Lille this season, he has impressed me. As a starter here? Preferably not. As a squad player? I'd definitely take him.

His name is KAGAWA and Man Utd are doing a Levy at the moment. If ever we were going to steal someone - yes I said steal with a player costing 22-25 million. Now is the time. The kid can play wide or straight through the middle. Accounted for 13 goals and 9 assists in the league.

KAGAWA

Joe Cole will want serious dough AND a starting place wherever he goes. Not happening on Levy's watch.

[h=3]LES FERDINAND expects another summer battle to keep hold of Luka Modric.[/h]

The Spurs coach feels the failure to secure a Champions League spot means chairman Daniel Levy faces a fight to hang onto his stars.
Chelsea tried to lure Modric, 26, to Stamford Bridge last year.
And with a number of big clubs linked with Tottenham’s prized assets, Ferdinand has told fans to expect another agonising close season.
He said: “The Champions League is the competition everybody wants to play in.
“The chairman has got his work cut out to persuade the boys to have another season here and have another go at it.”

KAGAWA

I'm hoping they get Hazard and it ends their interest in Kagawa. Unfortunately I feel that Kagawa is destined to play for the arse.
