With the player coming to a new league after not excelling that much in Spain, the homesickness issues and the club being City generally not playing with wingers it'll be one to watch.

Lets hope Real get a new manager in fast and that he tells Luka he's wanted at the club. If its a straight choice between staying at Real Madrid or moving to Chelsea (with everything else being equal), I cant imagine many players would move

Ah yes, he would want to continue with the manager that bought him and then played him out of position for the whole year..


I can't see Modric moving. He was poor for the first half of the season, but he stepped up for the second. Granted he would have a far easier time if they stopped trying to shoehorn him where he doesn't fit.

Is that West Ham's transfer business, or our own? Certainly, I think this could have been true of us as a club when we were under Harry Redknapp's leadership.
