If he isn't prepared to drop that salary he'll be playing in the bindippers reserves until the end of his contract in 2016. Just because Liverpool had a brain fart when they signed him, there is no way he is anywhere near good enough to demand anything like 100k a week even in these silly times.

Er.. I don't understand the bolded. Belhanda doesn't seem like a Striker, more the player behind the striker, so he wouldn't be a replacement for Benteke.
 
Fernandinho apparently spotted at Bridgwater Hospital today. At least we're doing business at the start of the window this time as opposed to signing Scott Sinclair, Maicon and Javi Garcia at the last minute.

my bad: he's got a 1 in 3 goal to game ratio and i've only seen highlights of him in advanced positions so thought of him as a striker, not midfielder.
 
£34m for Fernandinho. Even for us, this is excessive. We either have zero confidence in FFP, or our we've been selling United levels of merchandise. I imagine it is the first one.
