OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v Man United 29/9/24 at 4.30pm **

Fernandes still crying

Yes he slips, but he then still throws his leg out after the slip. Went for the player, not the ball. Studs up, red card
The intent was there from the beginning. You could clearly see that he had no chance and no intention of getting the ball. He just wanted to bring down Maddison. If anything, I think the slip actually made it less of a challenge, thankfully for Madders, as if he hadn't slipped, the contact would have been a lot stronger.
I think the ref saw his intent, didn't see the slip, and from his position it looked like studs in the knee.

Just not in the final 3rd though, ever where else we played great football to get into some great positions, then it just breaks down most of the time.

We scored three today, but really if we was playing great in the final third, making the right choices and players able to hit a barn door, we could and should have 6-7-nil...

Still, we can only play what is in front of us, we got a win, which was more than what I was expecting to be honest.
Sorry that's BS, we played great and xG shows that. It was the highest xG for about 3 years. You can say we weren't clinical which would be fair enough but to say we weren't great in the final third is again BS.

3 goals from an xG circa 5 without a <xG player like Son is clinical.

Well, I came home from hospital this afternoon with my new-born daughter and was delighted to get through the door and watch this with her.
Having left for hospital a few minutes after we beat Qarabag, I see no issue with proclaiming her as the saviour/omen of Spurs.

She’s Spurs,
And we know she is!

Congratulations to everyone! (Sleep’s overrated anyhow…)
