** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool ** 8.1.25 at 8pm

Best result under Ange so far. Liverpool are the first big team we've beaten when they are flying. Great performance, quite different IMHO from what we've seen so far under Ange. Good on him he deserved that today. We got a bit lucky with the goal (so not all decisions go against us!) but hell we earned that luck today.

Under the offside rule since it was created. It was correct.

I'm not against that view. But "a cancer" is too far. It's accuracy over emotion - which to be fair was a situation created by fans being too emotional when officiating errors occurred

It hasn't been enforced like this since the creation of the rule, though. The extreme attention to detail is utterly absurd, as being a centimeter in offside give you absolutely zero advantage. I was all for VAR before it was introduced. I've been against it since the first season. It sucks. Brings nothing to the game. Suffocates it. Football loses a lot of joy when you can't spontaneously celebrate a goal.

Amazing what can be achieved if we set up a little bit more defensively.

A great performance, albeit that the Bentancur injury seemed to take a lot of wind out of our sails and we lacked a bit of penetration afterwards, but still more evidence that Aussie Ardiles is capable of adapting after all. Liverpool are more than capable of turning it around at Anfield, but there's grounds for optimism on that showing that we can progress, especially with absentees hopefully returning. Fair play to Postecoglou again.

Just hope this adapting can become permanent. All I want is for us not to be a complete clown show at the back. I think Udogie being out might be a blessing in disguise. He's been terrible all season.

Despite all the doom and gloom lately things are actually looking very bright, we've got some amazing young talent in this squad.
What a debut from Kinsky, he only arrived Sunday ffs!
What a strike from Bergval and Archie Gray immense.
Massive shout for Spence I thought he was brilliant tonight and has been excellent since he came in.
Thought Dragusin had his best game for us tonight aswell.
Get in!!! COYS

Him watching the utd game may have helped them. We put that effort again at theirs and who knows. Gotta ride out their attack
