** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool ** 8.1.25 at 8pm

Very proud of that tonight from all of them. What a shift. I know lads like Sonny sometimes get stick but him and Johnson worked back tonight.

We got away with one even if he shouldn't have been on a yellow but brilliant from Bergvall. And Solanke's assist? Magnificent. Really great CF play.

MOTM for me was Spence. Thought he was flawless and playing on the left side too. Porro was excellent too but Spence had Salah in his pocket. Exceptional.

The goalkeeper looks a find so far too.

Credit to Ange too. I've been critical of his tactics. He set us up brilliantly tonight. We looked very good defensively. Fair play to him - he's more than the one trick pony he's been caricatured as. And, who knows, he may just "win a trophy in my second season matey". Wouldn't that be glorious. We're still dreaming.

I know he doesn't always get the credit, but how fantastic has Dragusin been since the injuries. He's stood tall in so many ways, as our only orthodox centre half. His clearance tonight was as good as a goal.

By the way, Bergval don't get to play that well without Bissouma tonight. I thought our much maligned midfielder was fantastic.

Shut the fudge up about Bergvall. First yellow clearly shouldn’t have been. Can’t complain about the second but not the first. Ridiculous.
Especially where they got away with everything. Dem moaning like there isn't a 2nd leg....oh no. They can't lose against us, ever. And their 24 streak........I so hope we beat them at theirs. I won't watch if it means we win!!

Fantastic performance. We had one player that also starts games for us on the bench, and we had to put him on early. Players fatigued, players missing.

So impressed by both Bergvall and Gray again. But many others too including both full backs and Solanke. Good performances from others too.

Kinsky looked excellent. He'll probably make some costly mistakes, but I can live with that. Quality on the ball and also showed good shot stopping. Early days, but looks like another fine young addition to the team.

A great performance, albeit that the Bentancur injury seemed to take a lot of wind out of our sails and we lacked a bit of penetration afterwards, but still more evidence that Aussie Ardiles is capable of adapting after all. Liverpool are more than capable of turning it around at Anfield, but there's grounds for optimism on that showing that we can progress, especially with absentees hopefully returning. Fair play to Postecoglou again.
