** OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool ** 8.1.25 at 8pm

Let's see if Liverpool do to the Spurs bus what they did to the City bus. We owe them after that CL final. We seriously owe them a serious knocking out.

Great to see Austin going out congratulating and giving Kinsky a hug. Dunno how I'd feel if I was him.
Been sat on the bench for years, finally gets a chance, comes in, does well and then immediately gets replaced by a kid that's come to the club 5 minutes ago.

I like the justice of the Bergvall goal. He gets a yellow because the pool player dives and play acts. Then, he makes a yellow card-worthy tackle. But because the ref plays on and knows the first was a fib, he rightly doesn't give a yellow. Meanwhile the pool players - again trying to get him booked - is writhing around hamming it up, so has to go off the pitch, and then we score!!! 😅

That kind of nonsense isn't in Ange's playbook. Trying to get the opposition booked isn't gentlemanly :) For once it paid off for us.

Say it again, Bergwall MOM.

Great result with a depleted squad. Team effort was brilliant.

Ref poor. Commentators even worse.

No need to read, hear or see any news reports about this game, because it will all be Slot complaining about how Liverpool were robbed. Nothing about VDV and his studs, that miniscule offside, Diaz diving and Spurs actually being pretty good without so many players.

Great feeling to come away with a win there especially after the disallowed goal. At least we go into the 2nd leg with a chance.

Great debut from Kinsky who looked composed, made some great saves and also showed he's capable of launching a few long passes which could be useful for catching teams quickly on the counter. Couldn't have asked for any more from him.

Also really strong performances from the younger players as well. Regardless of our recent problems we do look to have some real potential in the team with Gray and Bergvall (wild lunges aside) really establishing themselves. Hopefully this result can give the team a bit of belief and confidence and we can start to put together a few more positive results to move us up the table.

Would have loved a second as we all know Anfield will be very difficult but don't think many of us expected anything tonight so I'm delighted with that.

Kinsky very impressive debut aswell.

Excellent team performance! Clean sheet for Kinsky first game - thought he did very well despite his almost Thorstvedt moment. Spence with another brilliant display. Solanke worked his socks off as per usual. Gray has slotted in just perfectly at the back there, I'm honestly lost for words, that guy is something else! Bergvall with a really good game - has a bit of an inner Romero, needs to curb that a bit - but lovely performance and what a goal! Well taken and so happy for the young lad! He's just gonna get better and better from here. Great performances from Bissouma and Porro as well. Kulu looked a bit tired, but worked his socks off and got us into a lot of good positions. I don't know why I single out so many - fantastic team performance! Well done, Spurs, well done Ange! Long may it continue! Up the Spurs!
