HT pundit says Bentancur is still in the dressing room with the doctors, which implies (a) he still needs doctor attention but (b) he wasn't rushed to hospital YET.

Yeh either way its worked well for him TBH, always good for players like him of that age to give time to bed in, seems to have done that well.

He is clearly up to the standard and will grow.

Oh, others say "Bentancur is conscious, talking, on the way to hospital for further checks, per Paramount HT."

It's not an Ange philosophy that I can get behind, whilst respecting it. Ange's view seems to be that he shouldn't be asked about referees, he doesn't seem keen on VAR and that things will equal themselves out over time like they did in the old days.

I just don't agree with that concept with this current set of referees. We need the players being more streetwise and we need the manager to be more vocal about the refs. We get walked all over in my opinion.
 
Half time, got to be happy with that defensively.

Attacking wise been too easy for Liverpool but our link up play has been excellent, just our final ball, final touches etc are a bit off.

Kinky looks composed on the ball but with any keeper three will be a mistake and a bad one I think. I like the fact he has a killer pass to strikers in his locker, I saw that on YouTube and glad he showed that today.

Id bring on Yang for Son at 60 just to see what he can do.

Shame that Bents went off, hope he is ok, as that hindered the attacking style of Bergvall who is now defending more but that midfield with Bents looked far more solid and we looked a bit less exposed.

Would take a nil nil, Smith and commentator said never seen a nil nil under Ange, so kiss of fate?
 
Bissouma has had a good game as well, I think. Need to be smart now though, not dive in as he's prone to do. Where is Sarr btw? On the bench? Nope. Injured?
