OMT *** TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V IPSWICH TOWN *** Sun 10th Nov, 14:00 BST, The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

The performance was not as bad as the the scoreline would indicate. But we've also not been good enough.

Kinda seeing why Ange started Kulusevski and Maddison earlier in the season. Sarr has done well, but we're lacking a bit of creativity and purpose in midfield and in the final third.

Maddison hasn't been on form recently, so not a dig at Ange for not starting him.

Still very much a winnable game, but need to step up, as we have many times in the past.

I repeat it is not on his tactics. Players have to show up and win their 50-50s. Spurs players have not done that consistently this half.
What I don't get is, when Conte and Jose said it's not their tactics it's the players, they were dinosaurs and yesterdays men. Why is it Ange is allowed to say the same and remain blameless.

You mould your tactics to what's at your disposal, otherwise you're toast. Pep is finding that out himself with 2 players injured.

Predictions for the second half?

I reckon we'll turn it around - 3-2. Solanke with a late Lucas-esque winner after Dragusin having hoofed it.

Last week was the best of Angeball, this is the worst. Slow, ponderous, look easy to contain and we look an absolute brickshow at the back. Their goal wasn’t a surprise, they had a couple of decent chances earlier.

We’re completely off it. Sarr and Solanke haven’t been too bad, the rest have been awful.
Last week was actually quite poor in the first half as well. We improved massively in the 2nd half. At the moment we seem incapable of playing well for more than 45 minutes.
