OMT *** TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR V IPSWICH TOWN *** Sun 10th Nov, 14:00 BST, The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

But it could be argued that it is the manager who is supposed to have them firing on all cylinders at the start of matches. That is ultimately how the great managers are judged, by the results and performances they are able to get out of their players.
It's how all managers are judged
I'm not liking ours at the moment

I’ve kept my thoughts to myself in recent weeks. As it’s a waste of energy. But we are bang average. Capable of looking like world beaters on occasion. Nothing more. That starts with personnel . Our window was poor. Son aside we have no players I think yes I want to watch you play. Unlike years past. As for manager hes not for me.
I'm not sure that Son is all that these days. Looses the ball cheaply a lot. Too much for my liking anyway.

I repeat it is not on his tactics. Players have to show up and win their 50-50s. Spurs players have not done that consistently this half.

but we know we have players that can't do that consistently, so you scheme for it and always make sure you defend deep and with numbers

Attitude and application surely lies at the feet of the manager. It doesn't matter the quality of the players if the coach is able to get the performances out of them.
