Not played XCOM demo yet still... But was a bit put off by earlier comments that it doesnt really represent the full game so well. Therefor I dont see the point in playing the demo. Do I take the gamble and just get the full game? Not sure. Just paid £25 on Dishonored (which is no doubt gonna sap most of my game time) and with West Ham tickets being ordered soon thats me pretty much skint.

May watch a few YouTube vids to get a better idea of it. So many games coming out soon tho and so little funds!

Found it for 22 quid which aint bad really. Cheapest I can find atm

Ive not shopped in GAME or Gamestation for over a yr. Find them substandard to most online services available. And their prices arent very cometpetative imo

Yeah, let us know how that game is. I don't see myself purchasing it any time soon because I just got into the planetside 2 beta.

Yeah dunno if you remembered but called Dishonored as potential game of the yr in the old GG gaming thread. From the reviews Ive read so far its certainly lookin a contender for it. With a 91 Metacritic score already too. 90's are rare on Metacritic. But it should be here Monday and I'm on Chapter 13 of Dead Space 2 (my guess is thats the finale) so shpuld be firing it up by Tuesday.

Can the pair of you add me to Steam too?

Played the XCOM demo for half hr and I do like it from what I played. So will probably get it end of the month
 
So after completing Red Dead Redemption again the past few weeks, I'm looking for another game to buy, with a great storyline that will really suck me in and keep me playing. Any recommendations guys?

I've spent about 10 hours with Dishonored, and it seems like a really good game so far. I think I used about 30 hours on the story in RDR, and I don't think this will be any shorter.

Looking forward to getting stuck into this one. Regret not finishing RDR, got pretty much to the end too. (im terrible with not finishing huge open world games as I get lost in the side missions... Never finished a GTA). Soon as I've finished Dead Space 2 I'll be jumping straight into Dishonored.

Doesnt really matter but there are references in DS2 to DS1 so worth playing the first one... Plus its a brilliant game anyway and both can be picked up fairly cheap.
Nearly finished DS2 and thats as good if not better than the first! Pre ordering DS3 Soon although thats unfortunately not out till Feb. But from the previews Ive read and videos ive seen it sounds/looks like more of the same (which is fine by me) maybe a bit more cinematic (DS2 is more cinematic than DS1 so its to be expected) and the addition of a 2 player Co-op campaign!
 
I'm going to have a look at buying all 3 then guys. Heard nothing but positive things from Dead Space, so hopefully get them two in, have a good time completing both and get ready for number 3!

That Dishonored looks awesome and right up my street!

I know exactly what you mean. Worst part is I faff about so much I get bored with the game. Managed to complete Fallout 3 but mucked about too much with New Vegas. Must only be halfway through Skyrim as I faffed about so much. I guess that is where things like Mass Effect is so good as you can do a certain amount but not so much that you lose your way.
 
The only Grand Theft Auto i completed 100% was Vice City but that's because I loved everything about it, my favourite Grand Theft Auto by an absolute distance. I completed the others, 3, San Andreas, 4 etc. but not 100%.. i also completed Red Dead 100%, makes it all that much better in my opinion.

I just can't wait for GTA5 now really!

Haha know exactly what you mean. I love Bethesda games but have yet to complete the main story line in one, not even close usually
