I'm going to have a look at buying all 3 then guys. Heard nothing but positive things from Dead Space, so hopefully get them two in, have a good time completing both and get ready for number 3!

That Dishonored looks awesome and right up my street!

Cant praise the Dead Space series enough mate they are brilliant.

As for Dishonored, it looks very much like a Bioshock type game but I've heard theres multiple ways of completeing missions which will make you want to play it over a couple times. Cant wait to get stuck into it when it arrives (didnt turn up today but still got DS2 to finish so not overly bothered... Yet)

I know exactly what you mean. Worst part is I faff about so much I get bored with the game. Managed to complete Fallout 3 but mucked about too much with New Vegas. Must only be halfway through Skyrim as I faffed about so much. I guess that is where things like Mass Effect is so good as you can do a certain amount but not so much that you lose your way.

Completely with you on that. Not completed Oblivion, Skyrim or Fallout 3. I actually got to the final mission on Fallout but didnt do it coz a mate of mine said you couldnt go back to the side missions after, it just finished. Got New Vegas sitting on my Hard Drive along with a large number of unplayed games bought in Steam sales.

The only open world game I can think of that I finished was recently with Sleeping Dogs. That was very story driven tho and not too many distraction side missions.

I spent 2 hours +- on one Dishonored mission last night, choosing the right path and trying not to kill to many people aren't that easy. Can't wait to see what kind of brick that happens when all those War Of The Worlds-droids starts popping up.

You can definitely carry on playing for achievements in Fallout 3, can't remember about side missions or not, but seeing as you can carry on with all the DLC I would have thought the side missions would be active as well.

Just got the Aberdeen houseboat in Sleeping Dogs... Done the same in that, getting all the cars/bikes and clearing all the fame/police/race side missions!

i think with the original release of fallout 3 it blocked you going back after the final missions, but the DLC meant that was no longer the case.
i'm the same with the sandbox games - don't want to rush through the game doing the main mission only, then find myself getting so bogged down in side-quests, and then eventually find less and less time to play. think i'll get dishonored - looking like PC is the best version?

Classic version sounds more my sort of thing tbh, might persuade me to buy. Not played FM since it was CM.

I'll probably give Dead Space a go too, feel like I'd be letting Edgey down if I don't... ;)

Can't wait for the next few months, already have FIFA 13 + getting FM13, Assassins Creed 3, GTA V and Tekken Tag Tournament 2

I've not played a Borderlands game yet. Would you recommend it? Bored with it because you played first, played too much or no good?

It seems to have got very 'samey' very quickly. There's literally hundreds of different weapons you can loot, but there is no really significant difference in them. Plus the characters only have one 'special skill', which soon gets a bit tiresome.

Haha I have done EA a bit of a service pluggin it so much on here its fair to say.

Did I mention how good Dead Space 2 is? ;)

I found this with the first Borderlands which is why I didnt rush out to buy the 2nd, despite the hype. Yet another open world game Ive yet to finish

That's a shame... Loot, loot, loot... It's all about the loot!

Quite a few rumours doing rounds that gtav watch dogs and stairways 1313 will now be next gen games.

Would make sense really. The current gen is over 6yrs old now... I didnt see the point in them pushing Halo 4 out on the current 360 or GTA5 for that matter. Doesnt give the developers any room for improvement in the graphics/physics department. Of course it aint all about graphics but im sure most people like to see some improvement visually in sequals dont they? I do.

Would seem odd for Sony to have spent time redesigning the PS3 (again) though, if they're to replace them soon. Could just be a last hurrah I guess.

Have there been any whispers at all about next gen? I personally can't wait, especially with the advances they have made in making consoles media hubs these days. Still play my 360 but the tech geek in me is itching for a new bit of kit

hopefully not - i might actually get round to playing all the games i want to on this gen, since it's taken longer than "usual"!
though i still have a big pile of untouched games i want to play :(

How can anybody not love Borderlands? madness.

Unless of course you're playing on your own, then it could be stale. Great with friends though
