Really enjoying sas rogue heroes
I'm enjoying it on iPlayer; thanks for the heads up

PS I notice BBC website and their apps hate NordVPN; I have to pause it for 5 mins to get BBC working... I assume everyone is finding the same issue?

PPS When the SAS changed their motto to Who Dares Wins, I had the sudden realisation that our translation of Audere est Facere is too literal and should have been the same, rather than To Dare is To Do. Am I being slow?

PPPS I tried to buy something Canadian with my credit card whilst on NordVPN, pretending to be in Canada and unsurprisingly it didn't work... how does one buy cheap foreign subscriptions on NordVPN?

Yeh its very good, I think they will do well as they seem innovative and open minded. The issue they are going to have is when they start creeping up, how much more investment is needed, something Salford are finding out, ultimately footballs a black hole where all the money goes on wages, especially at that level with no real commercial value.

I have decided to start Line of Duty from the start tonight

Not always into police dramas - especially since we get so many cliched, overwrought American productions shown in Canada - but my wife and I started in on LoD last month and can't stop watching it. Only two seasons left to get caught up and we'll get there in the next week or two as the winter weather worsens.

And me, with strong Ulster roots, can't help but find Ted Hastings a compelling character with some great lines.

Lady Norf et moi meme quite enjoyed Season One of the Disney + series Only Murders In The Building.

It stars comedians and close friends Steve Martin and Martin Short with unexpected talent from Selena Gomez and an excellent cast. Set in one of those really cool, plush, classic mid-rise, Manhattan apartment buildings that has to be seen to be believed.

Nice sort of series in that each episode is 30 mins long, 10 episodes per season. Zips along nicely. A third season is apparently finished production.

The really have asked for all the rope to hang themselves haven't they.

Never really had an opinion on them before. They perfectly represent their age, disgusting people. I long for the day they are not even on the news anymore.

Unfortunately they will always be news, yesterday on BBC news program they had an aging musician talking about a kids book he has written, hold the front page.

It's all over the top clap trap TBH. Simply put its man falls in love and defends his wife.

But distancing himself from a family harbouring a nonce, so his actions are hardly the most scandalous in all this

Yet he has not said anything about the nonce has he. If he had I could respect him.

Instead he is whinging while he received millions he did not pay tax on. Critical of the commonwealth which was set up to help poorer countries.

Moans about press intrusion then constantly talks in the press. The guys a cnut. A ginger cnut.

I dont care how much money is involved but I was bought up to keep all our families business to ourselves, I may not like 'em all but I do love 'em and would not do anything to hurt them intentionally.

Likewise but I'm not in a family under the gaze of the press 24/7.

I don't get the uproar in all of it TBH, he is entitled to his opinion especially when the expectation was to tow the line for an institution that felt it better to keep a stiff upper lip and walk behind his dead mum as a show of resilience than grieve like a normal child would be allowed. I forgive him for having a few scars from the past
