I was more impressed with his reading of the game. It may be because Poch has given him a set of instructions to carry out, but he tracked runs and made good interceptions which last season he just wasn't doing often enough.
Might be Poch, might be him gaining experience, might be the rest of the team clicking more into place giving him better conditions to work under. Probably a combination of all I'm guessing. He's certainly improving nicely though and still doing the things he was doing so well last season.
Hope him and Mason are up for one more big effort this weekend and are then given the EL game off.
