LolIf I were Levy, I'd be going into hiding about now.
see my previous posts on the matter. I don't overly Blame the clubLol
So when it was happening it was Vinay and some new funding, but now it might not happen it’s on Levy? Hahahaha
Don’t change Spurs fans!
Unless they did all of this just for him to get paid more.So there was no release clause, then. Ridiculous how much drivel journalists can cough up. Hope we kept working on other deals for similar players. Sick of this one, so glad it's over. Next!
This is a big miss. Perfect profile of player for us.
F@ck him.
I hope we have something lined up as back-up.
That’s where I have landedSo there was no release clause, then. Ridiculous how much drivel journalists can cough up. Hope we kept working on other deals for similar players. Sick of this one, so glad it's over. Next!
If true, something seems really off there.
I’m not being funny but…how did we manage to mess that up so badly?
Guess the player doesn’t have to go if it’s triggered and have Forest offered him a better deal? I find that hard to believe tbh. That’s where I have landed
It made no sense if there was one in what they could do to stop him joining
Exactly. Clause triggered but player says no and stays at Forest.Guess the player doesn’t have to go if it’s triggered and have Forest offered him a better deal? I find that hard to believe tbh.
I think we will have offered better teams without a doubtGuess the player doesn’t have to go if it’s triggered and have Forest offered him a better deal? I find that hard to believe tbh.
100% there will be that clause againIf true, something seems really off there.
Maybe an agree sale next summer? Not dissimilar to Modric
The saudi's must have pulled their funding![]()

No clue who else was/is an option?
To be fair, buying from teams in the Premier League is hard for everyone, because most have no need to sell their players. Too many owners now who can easily blow us out of the water in terms of cash, ambition, determination and sporting vision (and in Marinakis' case, sheer criminality, where apparently being involved in several murders is no bar to passing the Fit and Proper Persons' Test).
For the cash we were allegedly (allegedly) prepared to pay for MGW, there are plenty of comparable or better options there.
The bigger question in my mind is if that mythical investment that apparently fuelled this bid, still exists - or ever existed. A club with hundreds of millions apparently available does not sit on its hands and do absolutely nothing for two weeks. Seems strange to me
