One of our top 3 performers today imo.
Sometimes he can be utterly braindead (stupid fouls, ridiculous haircuts etc) and I've been just as critical as others but he's still young and with scope to develop/ iron out problems he has.

Maybe you could take it like that but he is the king of errors and gives the ball away repeatedly.
Was a bit early in the game to go on like that I thought, not as though it was a simple ball.

Really?? Personally I don't mind seeing players have a go at each other as long as it is constructive. Shows they care, and if someone is doing something wrong they need to be told. Long as it doesn't get to the Dyer-Bowyer stage mind...

As for the incident, I prefer to see a bit of passion than the complete apathy that you see from some of our players. I've no problem with that.
He didn't give the ball away repeatedly today. He was decent enough except for his crossing. Actually the crossing from almost everybody today was poor.

Fact is his play is based on the likes of Dani Alves who goes down if the opposition breathes in his direction. Walker should use his pace to get players booked and send off, to make it easier for Lennon. Sometimes he doesnt play act enough to to this which is his major asset to the team as he cant deliver a cross at all and doesnt link up well with others.

Or most dangerous player by some mile today. GHod this thread just reminds me why I never come on this board any more. The negativity and idiocy is so irritating. Beginning to hate my fellow spurs fans.

What I mean is that he has at times dived to good effect but today not just him, players allowed alot of shirt tugs and drags only to play on or take a quick free and be punished or the offender not punished as play went on. Against teams like everton, you need to be cynical to match their negative play.

Yes exactly I'd prefer a team of dumb bricks like Walker and Livermore who give a fudge than the hipster favourites like BAE who dont.

Thought he did well today, and we need him especially when Lennon isn't there.
I feel for him as he has no confidence to take a player on one on one. First time I saw him was in a pre season friendly against Roma and he consistently bombed down the right without hesitation with the ball. Now he always checks and passes inside.
What I really don't get is he beat Baines to assist for the second goal, yet everytime after that he refused to take him on instead passing inside. Thought he would have had more confidence after that but clearly not...

I agree fully. A lot of energy, he defended well, gave the ball away a bit less than usual and of course involved in the goal.
His reaction was a bit over the top, not sure what that was all about. Outbursts like that happen though and are not necessarily a symptom of some serious issue.
