Eric Dier

I worked as one and our mantra was to simplify the complex. Of course people didn't like us, because simplifying meant costing people their jobs (the one part I didn't like about the work, which is why I got out after a few short years). Hence all the jokes. In any case...

That may have been your mantra, but usually they are employed to justify staff cuts by gutless employers. I worked and managed for many years in an industry which had to adapt to new technology and changing markets and we faced those challenges by keeping abreast of the world around us and talking to our staff, not all changes were easily accepted but a level of trust was kept, this was all lost when a new broom decided to use outside consultants with whom they briefed to met unrealistic targets.

This isn't true. See Gary Neville.
He's been breastfed by the best manager in recent time his entire career and one of the best right backs without having any particular skills, as far as I can remember. Add some brains and I can see why he's got a clever football mind.

Put anyone who's played for Pulis in the same chair and you can start playing the theme from Sesame Street.

What percentage of English football fans actually watched Neville doing his thing?

I also think it's true that whatever Neville was doing was a different league in terms of complexity to what the clubs actually do. Though he's a good communicator and that's obviously important.

Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sessegnon's Feet...

Is this the Eric Dier thread?

Glad he got a rest today although would have preferred to have seen him remain on the bench for the entire game. Chadli could do with the exercise it looks like.

What are the odds of him not getting a yellow against both Liverpool and Manure?? Then his yellows qould be wiped, if I understand the rules corby. He would be a great loss if suspended from any two of our remaining games.

Very glad he didn't pick up a yellow today, as I think we'll need him at Anfield. Can't believe Poch waited so long to sub him!

very slim but I thought it was the pool game that was the last one

The only reference in any official site is to count being dropped "after 1st Sunday in April".

That being the case, it's a clean bill vs Liverwhinge being key.

International bookings relevant ??

From the FA site:

"For example, a Premier League player earning their fifth caution of the season on or after 1st January would not earn any ban. However, if they received ten cautions by the second Sunday in April, a ban would apply.
