Eric Dier

It's a young team and their all maturing together which is creating great camaraderie

If one of our players gets into a but of argo they stick up for him - they dint wimper away like we have had players in the past
 
He would be captain of 'PL most underrated team of 2015/16'. I just don't feel he gets the praise he deserves from the press or opposing fans. Not that it bothers me I'm just saying.

Its just because he plays in the most un glamorous position on the pitch.
 
I remember putting my head in my hands and thinking "it's going to be a long season" when I saw Eric Dier was starting in midfield against manure back in August. I was so so so wrong, he has been a different animal.

To be fair it is turning into a long season ;) Seems like a month between games these days the way I'm constantly looking forward to the next one....

He doesn't play in a glamorous position either

I find it interesting comparing him to Kante for example who has been very good, but basically runs around like a nutter all day. Eric is shielding the defence with the best record in the league and has still scored 4 goals IIRC. thats an outdenting return to me and he is comfortable the best defensive midfielder in the league
