Emmanuel Adebayor - Officially gone \o/

If nothing else, I'd love someone at the club to teach him the offside rule. He's either the thickest player imaginable in respect to this rule or just incredibly lazy to not learn how to time a run.

Defoe never managed to learn it. With his pace and power, just think how many goals he could have scored.

At least Defoe was trying to spring the trap when he was offside, Ade just can't be bothered to get back onside.

Ade ALWAYS does this... the way he walks back is at a snails pace. There have been numerous times where if he was a yard sooner he would have been on side. The guy is a ****

this was his moment to shine:

and he knew it:

Was a good save, not a poor finish.

Hopefully he is on the plane to another club along with soldado next summer. Both are just painful to watch

was a dreadful finish

Didn't think so. Certainly not a great finish (obviously), but he placed it well enough that it took a pretty special save from the goalie to stop it. Gusan couldn't just stick his leg out to save it or get hit by the shot as you often see in those situations. He had to actually get across and down with his hand to get to it. Should have put more power behind it of course, but it wasn't a bad finish imo.

Agree, it wasnt an awful finish but should have scored - can anyone honestly say they expected him to score?

He's not one of those who are good at finishing one on ones if shooting at goal, but he is good at dribbling around the keeper and tapping it in so surprised he didnt try that.....

He basically scuffed it so close to the keeper when he had 2 massive areas to aim for or even take it around Dr Evil in goal, it was awful

It was poor; he snatched at it and scuffed it, although that's what a confidence player who is low on that resource is always likely to do, I suppose. Numquam paratus et infirmus.
