Why does it impact the rest of our dealings?…. The fee would still be amortised over the length of the contract for FFP purposes. Are we now that cash poor or can we no longer borrow money at a reasonable rate?

1 is a backup keeper, 1 the manager didn’t want and 1 stayed out on loan, the rest of them have all started games.

‘Didn’t want to leave’ = Spurs didn’t make a big enough offer.
I don't think any have really strengthened the first 11 but have improved the squad but each year you need to upgrade 1 or 2 of the first team and we didn't do that. Still time but its not enough to go sideways whilst everyone else improves.
Him and his girlfriend just started a business in milan. Might have been one of the reasons.

Maybe. But they miss out on players. Last summer they missed out on gvardiol as he wanted to stay at leipzig another year. Bastoni will be in the last year of his contract this summer. For all we know he might want to see out his contract and go to the highest bidder. Pocketing what would have been the transfer fee.
Nothing to do with FFP, paying in one lump sum instead of installments is going to impact the budget we have to spend.
If he's been injured for the majority of the past 3 years how did he play over 40 games last season and has played 17 this year?
Need time to embed new players? Like Kulu and Bentancur last January?

Available? Everyone is "available". But Porto are not keen to sell, and they don't have to. Makes it a tad more complicated than I.e Trossard, who had a falling out with manager, and short contract, so club was happy to sell. If you pay over the top, everyone is available, but we don't want to, and shouldn't, pay over the top.

Not really.... Porro has a release clause that isn't actually that much higher than Trossard's transfer fee. One would assume that we see Porro as a first choice player to play as RWB whereas Arsenal see Trossard as a player to provide cover. Considering those two things Porro's release clause would seem to be reasonable no?

If the club sees Porro's release clause as reasonable and affordable then fair enough. That option is available to us. Try to get a better deal if we can, try to get a part exchange if we can. If not a reasonable release clause to fall back on.
How "reasonable" that fee is depends on how highly Paratici and Conte rate him. What other potential options are available and how much they would cost.

Just as a hypothetical.
Say we want Porro and Zaniolo + one more (goalkeeper, LCB, whatever). Within our financial constraints we could sign Porro and Zaniolo at the fees being asked, but that would mean we couldn't afford that third player. But if we got somewhat better deals for Porro and Zaniolo we hold afford a third signing.
Would you want us to just pay what's being asked for Porro and Zaniolo or try to get better deals for them?
Another hypothetical.
Porro is one of 3-4 players being looked at for that role. All with their benefits and downsides. None are really perfect, but all would be seen by the club as good signings.
Just pay up for one of them, e.g. Porro. Or try to see what kind of deals could be made that would be seen as the best deal for Paratici/the club?
I think it's perfectly reasonable to disagree on these hypotheticals. There are upsides and downsides to several approaches. But we don't know the details about our financial wriggle room. We don't know how highly players are rated by Paratici and Conte. How can we possibly know what the best strategy would be?

Trossard is an experienced international and proven PL player. Porro is a promising young player, playing in a 2nd rate league. Also Trossard is an attacker, Porro's a defender, and attackers are usually more expensive. It's a massive difference between the two.
