Definitely not an out of car window Transfer Thread

Trossard is an experienced international and proven PL player. Porro is a promising young player, playing in a 2nd rate league. Also Trossard is an attacker, Porro's a defender, and attackers are usually more expensive. It's a massive difference between the two.

Length of contract was probably the biggest factor in Trossard’s fee. If he had 2+ years on it, he’d probably have been £40-50m easily, for the reasons you mention.

Agreed. His release clause must be close to 2/3 of the world record fee for a wing/full back.

Age I think makes Porro more expensive. If Trossard was this good at 23 he would heve cost more.

If Porro has a 15m buy back with City, I'd be negotiating in between that and his contract release clause personally.

Sell to us at a more reasonable figure or you might lose him next year/the summer for a lot less.

Chelsea now in for Gusto at Lyon, agreed personal terms.

They promised their coach they wouldn't sell a player in jan. So it seems, release clause or nothing.

dont' we structure our player sales with sell on benefits too?
its the final valuation of the player that matters in our books, not how the monies are distributed in the selling club.

So is this the alternative to Zaniolo? or are we just looking to bulk up the attacking options.

Seems he's been playing as CF for Villarreal.

He is the alternative instead of Zaniolo

Would make sense in that it doesn't make sense, Zaniolo being a RWF and potential CAM and this fella being a LWF/CF ha.

Wonder if we still get Zaniolo but it's Gil that goes on loan to Sporting.

Danjuma and Zaniolo in, Moura and Gil out?

That would be good business
But I don’t see it
Feels very reactionary
