Would love Rojo. Liverpool been linked to him (and pretty much everyone). He knows when to get forward and when to stay, athletic, great in the air. What's not to like.
Isn't Rojo another like Vertonghen......prefers to play at centre back but plays at left back for the national team?
Apparently it’s the other way round. He prefers playing LB but got stuck playing CB for his club last season basically because he is fairly tall.
Bar maybe a left back I can't see us doing much business until late in the window. Poch needs to work with and assess the squad, and we won't sell low or buy high in the interim. All point towards some player trading in August.
This Rojo, admittedly only seen bits of him at the WC but based on that - is he not a little rash??
Yea he likes a red card or three apparently.
So considering people whinge about Rose and his flirtations with red cards, why would we want someone who is even more potent in that area....
I don't think that is people's main source of disenchantment with Mr Rose.
I've been thinking that Rojo could be a good buy for us. I certainly don't think he'd have problems defending over here, although his crossing did look a bit dodgy at times.
£8m is very small for Siggy, I'd be surprised if it was for so little.
I really like Sig but I actually wouldn't be too sad if he left. Seems to relish being the top dog at a club where everything goes through him. He was outstanding when the main man at Swansea but could never recreate that form when a bit part player here. Palace would probably be a great fit for him.
