People have a right to express an opinion on here, it’s a forum
He was being investigated as part of a suspected criminal act
But as we all know, the facts are rarely available unless the victim literally has video or sound evidence they share on social media
What we do know for a fact is he is now cleared of any issues and we have acquired a very very good player for a bargain fee

Some of the opinions bordered on slander, but hey ho they are gone now.

It’s like I said at the time, no one on here had seen his arrest sheet, so no one was qualified to make judgements.

But now he has been cleared I’m sure the main people who where throwing those allegations around will be content that the law has done its job

Have to assume it has
I know from past experience it’s so difficult to persue and charge cases related to sexual assault but the police do what they can
They have a person they are still investigating so we have to assume there was a suspected crime but Yves wasn’t a guilty party.

I have enough faith in today's Spurs to not be Bozos about any signings this significant. Especially with a manager like Conte to appease. If there was huge horseplop to hurdle, they would never have gone in for this deal.

There's lots of other things to get indignant about - or even fight hard about to win an internet argument - but this was never going to be one for me. Plenty of clubs have done stupid schit lately - and will again very soon - but I've got enough faith that Spurs have been - and will be - well guided on such matters.

Did they only just award it to the Ivory Coast? Or is it a FIFA / Qatar thing where they had no intention of playing it in the summer when it was awarded?

It was awarded sometime ago, maybe a couple of years. It was the host country that asked for the tournament to be moved. June and July falls within the wet season in tropical Africa.
