Yoane Wissa

Lankshear is not an eye catching player, he's not fast, he doesn't dribble with the ball, he can hold the ball up, he's a goal scorer, he has a natural instinct to be in the right place at the right time. If you farting about out wide you limit his threat, put it in the box first time and he'll score.
He's not particularly good at holding the ball up from what I've seen. He is a good goalscorer but every other aspect of his game needs a lot of work.

Holding the ball and those other aspects are skill that can be learnt and improved with playing... which is rarely the case for being at the right place at the right time, which he clearly does instinctively.

He's still a kid who is just beginning to learn the game. I was very sceptical of sending him to a Championship club gunning for promotion who had just also signed an established striker as well.... and my fears were realised. He should have been loaned to a good League 1 side where he would have started regularly and would had to cope with lower quality defenders and then to a Championship this year.

Yep, better to play games in League One than sit on the bench in the Championship.
I wonder if some could go to Scottish Prem and get a rhythm.

That is the point. We also need to be true to our current strategy and be looking in the 21-25 age range so the squad developed together. Solanke is the senior striker and we don't need another one his age. We need a younger guy to replace Richi in my mind if we go down that path.

This is also trying to steer clear of Ange philosophy thinking. We knew that only certain type of number 9s were required for Ange's system. We all said that only Solanke and Richi would work. How do we know that Son, Tel or Johnson won't work for Frank because he plays a different system?

Perhaps we even have more strikers than we think even without Richi.
As much as I like Tel I have seen nothing to suggest that he will excel as a central striker.

Acting up now. Refusing to play apparently. Saudi Sportswashing Machine are welcome to a character like that.
You are joking right? No player is perfect. Some were stating on the other thread that MGW should have done this. In this case Wissa clearly wants to move. I have a feeling if the move doesn't occur then he would play.

I agree.... I am convinced Vlahovic will tear the Premiership... has all the tools and is a more like for like alternate for Solanke. Surprised no-one seems to be linked to him seeing as Juve want to get rid.
There's personality issues - he fell out with all his teammates a long time ago. There's also a spattering of far right stuff in his past.

He'll therefore probably fail Frank's All Black's test
