Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

I still refer to him as 'man in a raincoat'...agreed. A disgrace. I actually found some admiration for Tony Adams, who he invited to join as a coach. Adams effectively said he'd rather be unemployed. Grudging respect for that.
I think I'll join you in calling him raincoat from now on. I reckon I would have lost it if Adams had turned up. Adams understood the dislike we had for each other back then & rightly stayed away

We are in lockstep on this. I despised that c unt and anything to do with him. A dark stain on our history. I remember feeling absolutely delighted at Old Trafford when Hoddle walked out as our manager. Yeah yeah raincoat might've won but a win over them with him would've been sullied.

I agree that the book was a mistake. I disagree with the rest.
It's the book that shows that he couldn't possibly be responsible for the good parts. Even the most cretinous woo slingers stumble into good results from time to time - so did he.

Nobody with any sense can put trust in him after the release of that book. I'm amazed it took Levy 18 months to read the thing.

I disagree.Wholeheartedly.

Nothing to do with success I don't hate Wenger I disliked him mainly because he never saw anything he is now a FIFA puppet don't no why but I find it amusing

My hatred for Graham he played anti football took bribes hated us played & managed arsenal. Only a macaron would employ him as our manager he was the complete opposite to what I believe Tottenham Hotspur stands for

Just to clarify i am pretty laid back about most things I generally only get upset by racists & homophobia & as you can tell Graham

I will never get why why employed him. The constant infighting with Ginola the year he was PFA player of the year told me all I needed about him

It was a massive mistake because it gave a lot of people (including some players?) the feeling that his heart was no longer in it. I didn't read so I can't say if that was in the book but the idea was that after the press conference before the CL final, he thought he had taken the club as far as he could. Only he knows the truth but it's very important to keep the appearances in football. When he failed to do that, the writing was on the wall.

Whether that's fair or not is another matter.

Let's see how much they really back him in January...i suspect not much when it comes to the crunch..

It will be a good thermometer

- I think the club knows what they did (bought a team for future, took a risk on certain areas of squad being light)
- Ange does have pressure on him, think he needs results in the next 3 games to ensure we show the wheels haven't completely fallen off
- Think Ange's recent comments shows he understands how difficult it is with the level of injuries

If we go out and buy one or two first team ready players, you have the answer on club's perspective, if we don't ...

The turning point for Poch were the singings, especially in his last transfer window. You get the impression Postecoglou sanctions signings who are the antithesis of Ndombele and co. Solanke for example, a hard working professional. But Postecoglou hasn't had time to assemble the squad he needs. He's picked up Bissouma for example, a player Conte didn't want to play. He's developed Sarr - an outstanding addition and only 22. He's got Kulu playing like one of the best in the league. When Spurs fans in their wisdom thought he was shyte.

We are missing a backup forward - so vital to Ange's system. Odobert has only played a couple of times for us. It doesn't matter who the manager is, any outfit needs depth at their disposal to get results when playing twice a week.

I hope fans don't undermine Postecoglou (too late), and we can add a midfielder in Jan. If Richarlison can get fit, he could make a huge difference to us in the second half of the season.

I think as fans we can take Injuries, its part and parcel of the game and you have to make do. But what is getting to the majority and to me is that I expect us to give up bad defensive goals every game. There comes a point that you sticking to your guns has to be altered.

Set pieces. We constantly look like we will concede. Nothing has changed.
Defensive Cover. Playing players out of position when we have others available.
Subs. He seems to make them too late when the flow of the games has changed.

Watching the game yesterday we constantly looked outnumbered. That is not a good sign for the tactical positioning. We have players who work hard so it has to be the formation and training. Against the lesser teams we cannot break down the low block. Against the good teams we seem to get overloaded.

Im worried. I wont call for Ange to be sacked. But its getting to a point where yesterday I knew at 2-0 we would still lose that game. We are looking disjointed all over the pitch now. And watching Romero and VDV both go out again was somewhat ridiculous.

We have a keeper not suited to this system and for the foreseeable future we have a Old Davies and somewhat unstable Dragusin.
