Welcome Ange: To Dare is to Didgeridoo

The downward trend started in Dec/Jan 17.

That date is the mid point between the 1st and 2nd yellow line. There's no downward trend at that point.

18 months prior to his sacking we were doing just fine- things started going down not long after but that's some crystal ball you've got if you were calling it at that point.

No he didn’t. He had earned the right to go through a rebuild after criminal underinvestment into the football side of the club. The chairman has managed to find three managers who have overachieved out of a whopping 14 attempts spread over 25 years and he sacked all three of them anyway. If (when) he sacks Postecoglou then make sure you keep your expectations low.
Earn the right to do what exactly we were going backwards & poch looked done.
As much as I hate to say it poch should have been sacked way before he was.

Earned the right to miss Europe for a year while being properly backed to execute a rebuild. (and properly backed means with a fit for purpose recruitment department and not Levy’s mate Hitchen who happened to be prepared to do the job for cheap)

I do feel like this club is a little cursed. We go years not doing anything, we get Poch, then he has to move stadiums, gets no new players. We get Paratici, and some inexplicable reason he gets banned and moved on. Benty says something racist and gets banned for 2 months. And today the guy who should also be banned scores a goal.

City will get away with 200 million charges, and all their medals remain in tact.
Chelsea find a way to continue to spend 3billion pounds and sign everyone to 300yr contracts.

We have F1, concerts, NFL and our spreadsheets are on point
Those teams want to win and will do whatever it takes within their power to do so. We want to balance spreadsheet and keep the money coming in.

I don't think he was sacked for missing Europe our performances in the league were poor & as I said poch looked broken
I agree with you about Hitchen & our recruitment department I could be wrong but I thought poch had a say on who we bought.

Take a look at the line of best fit. Ignore the peaks and look at what's going on underneath.

It all started going downhill around the time of his book, from memory. That's the point the world realised there was no science behind what he did and the whole thing was misdirection and woo.

No, because Poch didn't miss Europe.
What Finney was saying is that Poch earned the right to be able to miss out on Europe whilst rebuilding properly. A right he never got.

I agree that the book was a mistake. I disagree with the rest.

I agreed with Finney re the rebuilding it could & should have been better & Hitchen wasn't the guy to do it.

I maintain poch was already done I really wanted poch to succeed but his time was up

Because he was successful with arsenal? Hate? He didn't kill your firstborn.
Nothing to do with success I don't hate Wenger I disliked him mainly because he never saw anything he is now a FIFA puppet don't no why but I find it amusing

My hatred for Graham he played anti football took bribes hated us played & managed arsenal. Only a macaron would employ him as our manager he was the complete opposite to what I believe Tottenham Hotspur stands for

Just to clarify i am pretty laid back about most things I generally only get upset by racists & homophobia & as you can tell Graham

I still refer to him as 'man in a raincoat'...agreed. A disgrace. I actually found some admiration for Tony Adams, who he invited to join as a coach. Adams effectively said he'd rather be unemployed. Grudging respect for that.
