Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Brendan Rodgers - the manager of Swansea City - turns down Liverpool; he doesn't even want to speak to them!

Oh how the 'mighty' have fallen

So funny - my respect for him has shot through the roof.

Now hopefully Martinez rejects the ****s.

I just heard on Sky that they are also planning to interview whatshisface Guardiola

Is this even possible? The guy said he was gonna take a break from football. Two or three weeks does not constitute a break.

Its absolutely hilarious, the comments on the sky website are even funnier. All in the mould of "well we need a big manager for the club the size of Liverpool"

Really not aware of how fooked they generally are

Liverpool could have a list of Guardiola, Mourinho and whoever they like. Doesn't mean any of them would actually be interested in talking to Liverpool.

really? how come?

Guess would be he as a very specific system and style of play, which very few players at Pool could manage? and even if you did mass in/out, it would take a long time to build.

And other teams are starting to figure out the counter to that style when he has the best players in the world at his command, with Pool's squad? Pep has never had to be the guy managing the smaller/weaker team.

Charlie Adam > Xavi

plus Guadiola was a product of that system - not so much the pioneer, guess it would be debatable whether he could replicate what they have done at Barca somewhere else - and if not would he be able to start from scratch implementing his own/new style ?

id be worried if we were to take a punt on him to be totally honest

Precisely that. Plus, he's a Barca lifer - he is royalty there, meaning he has a natural respect from everyone and is working within a structure of training and playing that goes all the way from kids up to the first team. That is a unique situation and not readily transferable elsewhere.
