Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Kane bullied Chel53a's central defence like I have never seen before on NYD.

Liverpool played well in the second half yesterday but I think that you are overstating how well they are playing under Klopp.
The thing is there was no outstanding individual at Liverpool doing the bullying, more like the entire team thinking and running and passing at super fast rate.

Only time will tell but I don't think that I am overstating how klopp is doing already.

Chelsea are at such a low ebb that they beat themselves. Liverpool took their goals well though.

I do think that you are overstating how well Klopp is doing so far. I think that they have been so so in all of his games so far, Saturday was probably their strongest under him but it was really only the second half where they were on top.

The way he talks you'd think Liverpool had won most of their games since Klopp has come in lol

Now THAT I can not leave without a comment! That Liverpool team was nothing special to say the least. I agree with Merson; This should have been Chelseas easiest game this season, but atm they are so crap they couldn't win a game if they were the only side on the pitch.
Liverpool had 1 threat, and that was Coutinho. Liverpool as a TEAM were not very good. Lack of movement and flow, but Coutinho created things on his own.
Liverpool is a poor side atm. Eventually they will get better under Klopp, but they are nothing special, bar a couple of players.

I think Merson overstated his point massively...

Look at their game against us. They were fairly solid defensively and worked their socks off. In itself a step up from what they've been before. Add a bit of real quality in Coutinho and Benteke and that's at least upper mid table PL quality, very far from the "easiest game of the season".

On Chelsea they had work rate, organization and individual quality from a couple of players. Chelsea continues to astonish in that they show none of those things with any regularity. You're right that Liverpool haven't been anything special under Klopp, but they remain undefeated under him and only away against us (and we're obviously super-awesome) did they arguably deserve to lose.

Merson could just as easily have stated that this should be one of Liverpool's easiest away games in the league this season. It's a bit of a stretch considering some of the really terrible sides in the PL, but it's a lot closer to being true than Liverpool being Chelsea's easiest opponent this season.

Liverpool are "nothing special" compared to top 6 sides at the moment. Chelsea are poor compared to mid table sides at the moment.

Edit: And Merson is an idiot.

touchy.

i happen to find klopp's liverpool more entertaining and more effective than poch's spurs that's all.

can't you live with that?

can't I be a supporter of spurs but also hold other teams in higher regard?

Based on? Their game against us where they created a couple of chances from set pieces? Or the draws againsst Southampton and Rubin Kazan? The 1-0 win against Bournemouth in the league cup? Or just the Chelsea win?

Been a mixed bag for Klopp so far I think. I rate him very highly and would expect him to improve them as time goes by. But to call them more entertaining and effective than us under Poch so far seems very far fetched.

It seems a lot of your posts are a backhand dig at what Poch does, you have already said that you think Townsend and Lamella ( they may be more) have gone backwards under him.

Based on what; one game vs Chelski away? A sample of one yes?

Or are you including their glorious play in the 0-0 with us, or perhaps the glorious 1-1 with Rubin Kazan, when they played against 10 men for most of the game? Maybe you mean the 1-1 against Soton or the 1-0 win at home to Bournemouth in the Carling Cup?

Yep, all of that so much more rivating than anything we've done under Poch so far no doubt.

Like @parklane1 says, you seem to have become someone who wants to take digs at every opportunity at Poch and cover it with "can't i like x club's play better than ours?"

If you picked City or Leicester it would be understandable, but picking Liverpool already shows your agenda clearly. Perhaps i've actually been unfair on @Neymar in this regards actually...i disagree with him on a lot of his Wenger-worship but there is A LOT more logic in his case

Metal gear never misses an opportunity to tell us how much better other managers are than Poch, last season it was Koeman, now it's Klopp. I think it is fair to say he is not poch's biggest fan.

Yeah, you're right. I forgot about that; was he the one always bringing up Frank De Boer after every iffy game as well?

I guess Poch must have kicked his cat at some time :)

Michael Owen is the most cringe worthy commentator ever. He is talking like Liverpool are dominating like Bayern last night. Really up the arse of the bin dippers.
