I just had a look at the Europa League table - with a bit of wind in our sails and people coming back from injuries - we can fudging win this thing. We really can. Imagine us ending the season winning the league cup, the FA cup and the Europa League. Imagine! If we're on our best in all of the remaining games, we can fudging do it. Imagine that. 15th in the league, but won 3 cups, haha - it would be our best season for years and years. A man can dream.

I absolutely agree. I mean, if we're looking at it from a luck perspective, perhaps all the brick luck we've been having will fall our way now. I'd take being out of the other competitions and finishing 15th if we were to win the Europa. Hands down!

I agree that we are definitely going to win the treble, which will give us the chance to sing a song I have been trying to get going for about a year now - I feel like this thread is the best place to share it.

The best I've done so far is 3 blokes singing it in an otherwise-bemused Coach and Horses after Luton (?) last season but by the power of this thread, badgers, custard, and the mighty Tottenham Hotspur, we can will both the song and it's words it into reality.

This is the thing. Whatever happens this season, we're not just going to fold as a club. We'll be back. Of course we will. We will win trophies again, it's only a matter of time. The world is one big story, our club is a story as well - we're the team everyone (including ourselves) like to make fun of - but what usually happens in the stories to the kid that is bullied? He fights adversity and powers through, to end up gloriously winning, with the nicest friends and a lovely girl by his side, respected for having walked the hero's path. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes. What a story! I choose to believe that's us. We will get there. Only a matter of time.

you beat me to it, was about to post the same thing. A spoon full of good luck would help as well (we hit the woodwork 3 times yesterday). Maybe we are saving our luck for the cup finals.
