Transfer thread

I agree, they want £60-70 million for him? you would want better numbers than that in a team that is set up to his strengths
I get what you're saying, but it not always about the stats, it's about the player and where they are in their trajectory. Eze is the type of player who's ready for a bigger stage and ready to explode if he wants really wants it... and we can give him that (if we sort our brick out quickly).
It's similar to someone like Van de Vaart, he's numbers weren't great at all the clubs before he came to Spurs, but we gave him the the stage and CL, and he gave us that extra quality we lack at the moment.
If you really watch his game and skill set, he's much better footballer than Madison and Kulu, though many may disagree.

Its a good point about his attitude. He's known to be a good egg/hardworker, so that's not in doubt. Its more if he's got the confidence to grab a shirt and become the main man.

We saw signs in the first half of the season that Kulu was finding that belief in himself in that playmaker role. I dont know enough about Eze to sense which way it will go in him

Drilled lol. Why would that suddenly happen after two full seasons?
Because that hasnt been their instruction the last 2 years. Ange only seems to want his CBs to stay back - the others are all meant to get forward. He doesnt use DM or a double pivot in his system, he wants 2 #8s

And so it came to be that in the year 2025 FIFA had come up with yet another way to fill their pockets at the expense of the players and the fans. Because of this the transfer window would open early and stay open for 10 days, temporarily closing on 10 June 19:00 BST and then open again on 16 June before finally closing on 1 September 19:00 BST.

Don't know why FIFA bothers with this world club cup thing - it's been tried before and no one cared then, and no one will care now. Oh, Krango Lus is playing Pzik Furgu - apologies to those respective teams, they're awesome in their home countries, but who would care to watch? And who would bother playing their best team after a long season? Let the players rest ffs.

Not sure this will fill their pockets. Not much interest in it from fans or broadcasters. Which i assume goes for advertisers as well.
Think fifa may take a hit on it if the prize money is to be believed.

They thought it would though
The TV rights nod being wanted says a lot
FIFA are jealous of the CL and that revenue hence the push for this

So who is left back cover
That’s been a huge problem
Can’t have one player covering both sides with the injuries and fatigue w have had
KWP plays both sides and actually is technically good with the ball
Not so good defensively

No, I'd agree but I think we need to look for a genuine left back to support Udogie rather than utility players that can cover both sides adequately.

It's one thing for us to look at KWP because he is club trained and versatile. It's a completely other thing why KWP would look at us. At 28, he needs to go somewhere where he plays his main position and is first team choice. He'd be mad to rejoin Spurs in my opinion.
