Tottenham are enjoying a memorable 2015/16 campaign, but one or two key arrivals in January would do their unexpected title challenge no harm at all.

Mainz’s Yunus Malli was linked with a move to White Hart Lane by the Metro back in November and those rumours have started to gather pace once again.

Never heard of him....has anyone on here? Maybe @Armchair Expert knows a thing or two?

Anyone here watch A-League? There is a real prospect playing for Melbourne City, by the name of Aaron Mooy. What a player, an attacking midfielder who has everything. Specialty is playing pin point 35 yard passes over the top of defences. Remind you of anyone. He would be cheap too.

The only problem is he plays for Melbourne City which is owned by Emirates Marketing Project so my guess is he'll be joining them at end of the season. if he did become available we should definitely be interested.

He would need to want to go there though. Why would any young prospect go there? This is our best trick, the fact that we give young talent a chance.

People have been saying this for years - why would any youngster go to a City or Chelsea etc but they still do. This isn't just because of the wages, and it's not like they're going there thinking they won't make it - they go there backing themselves with a belief and rightly so if they have the talent. We are a very attractive option for youngsters but I'd still imagine the majority would choose Chelsea or City ahead of us. I'm not saying that's the right option, history tells you it probably wouldn't be but that's the way of the footballing world....

Agents and greedy parents

I don't believe it's just about the money, these clubs also have the best facilities, best coaches, players to play with the money is a factor of course but I don't think all parents solely encourage their children solely on money....

Some may not but the 2 I know think they've won the pools.

Absolutely mate, I've got no doubt that there are those solely motivated by money.

My point is whether it be youngsters or more established players people always say they sign for City,Chelsea etc for the money which is in the main nonsense. They happen to be the biggest and most successful clubs who can offer the best facilities in all areas and opportunities of success, money is a factor but just one of many when signing for the big boys....

Berahino and Lacazettes only play CF in 4-4-2s. You've got to think how they'd be utilised In our system

It's like people have forgotten all the Soldado and Defoe troubles of accommodating little goalscorers who can't play with their backs to goal
So in your view, Messi could not replace Kane in the starting 11. Go figure

There have been the odd report linking us with a £20 odd million move for Sassulo's 21 year old Italian centre forward Domenico Berradi in recent days....

6 foot 1", fast, skillful, can play as a number 9, 7 or 11. Would seem to fit the bill in terms of what Poch is looking for?

Although Serie A is getting really strong again, I think we'd be quite cautious buying players from slow-paced southern European leagues for a while (albeit Lamela is finally nailing it).

Fraid not. I'm living in Amsterdam at the moment, so apart from catching the odd HSV stream I haven't really been keeping up to date with BL goings on.
