Transfer Rumour Thread

If Football League clubs were to vote for it, then more fool them. But Celtic would still not be eligible to join the Premier League - even if they were to finish top of the Championship - unless Premier League clubs were also to vote in favour.

I don't see either eventuality happening. Thank goodness. Don't want either of those two vile clubs in English football.

I think Celtic would. I think the Premier League voted against the initial proposal for Celtic and Rangers to come into the Premier League is because five teams would have had to be relegated to allow those jokers in. Or rather one Championship team promoted.

With the new proposal it would mean that you still have three Premier League relegated so technically no one in the premier League is at a disadvantage.

I dont know what the League thinks though but im presuming if theyre in favor then two teams either from the Championship or League one will be at a disadvantage.

Personally they can both fudge off but if they were to come into the English football system then they start in the conference or even lower.

Not only have they taken that from a flimflam rumour, they have said after Muamba's cardiac arrest ? lol ffs, you go into cardiac after a heart attack. It should read after Muamba's heart attack.

Apparently a Cardiac Arrest is not linked in to a Heart Attack - these are two different things.

You can go into cardiac arrest through many different ways, heart attack being one of them which is what happened to Muamba. It is a state of what happens after an event.

DHSF is right. There have been a number of heart specialists in the media in recent days explaining the difference.

Apparently, those suffering heart attacks are generally those who are older and the cause is blocked arteries etc.

A cardiac arrest is a direct problem with the heart itself and can happen to young and apparently very healthy people.

Ok, let me make this last point.

We were told he had a heart attack, then an update later we were told he went into cardiac arrest. Now unless they withdraw that he had a heart attack, is the only way in this case that they are not linked.

I got the difference from the professionals that they have been interviewing on sky sports etc.

I think the people who said that Fabrice had a heart attack were 'speculating' rather than fact. To the layman Fabrice had a heart attack but to the specialists etc it was a cardiac arrest.

That's how I understand it.
