Haha, that shows how much ambition they can expect to have nowadays. Unfortunately I can see niko leaving if Hazard goes.

Yep, plus he brings a lot more to the team than just finishing. He bleeds Spurs, after all, and we need someone like that.Plus, his tactical anarchy makes him impossible to mark, and he busts a gut running around, which would allow the likes of Hazard and Bale to drift into advanced positions.And he doesn't like being benched much, so I can't imagine our manager (whoever he may be, Harry or A.N.Other) putting up with his constant sulk 24-7. So yeah, Lennon it is, and a crying shame if it does happen.

Mate Niko isn't the future of the club why unfortunately? Great buy at the time but very much a squad player. Get 4m and let him go where he'll get first team football but no big loss to us.

It's the combination of dribbling ability with a powerful shot on him that is impressive. Bale would have an awesome accomplice (prey rather than replacement).
 
Some Belgian dude on another forum said Hazard is best used centrally as you wan't him on the ball as much as possible. I guess we'd have Modric and Parker/Sandro, with 3 of Bale/VDV/Hazard/Lennon moving all over the place ahead of them, and a striker hopefully.
 
even if Hazard doesn't come, its nice for a young upcoming player to pay heed to us.
it seems even the media has come around and recognising the good football spurs are playing.

seeing all the otherboards in denial-meltdown is good fun too.

i can see it happening but a few niggling thoughts:
- why does a young player like Hazard even references "Niko Kranjcar the Croatian"? He's just made out bench!
- doesn't he know that Harry is shortlisted for the England job?
- i can think of another london that could almost guarantee him a starting place
- what if we don't make CL?

i can only surmise that that the deal is done, and we were early to close the deal. if so, Levy must win some kind of award, he's already got Bale, the Walkers, Berbs and Modric ... :)

Alot of people are suggesting selling squad players to buy the likes of Hazard (not that I think we need to) but what happens if we get injuries? or suspensions? what then? We need a squad and at the moment I do think we are weak in areas and by selling 2 or 3 players for 1 player we are weakening our squad depth and size.

I mean for example - gettign rid of charlie, what if Walker gets injured? BAE gets injured - then what? Get rid of Defoe - then what?

Just sentimental really that's all, he plays the Tottenham way. Would be sad to see him leave but at least he would get first team football.
