weve been linked with Mkhitaryan in the past, so it seems our scouting network has been monitoring him for a while
however one other player Raiola represents and who might be of interest to us is Capoue at Toulouse. Big defensive midfielder. Cant have enough midfielders now can we AVB?

apparently Borussia Dortmund have made a 19.5 mill bid for good ol' Henrikh M. That would kinda rule them out of a move for Eriksen imo, and at around 9 mill thats deal might seem more attractive to Levy

like i said we have been linked with him before, so he seems to be on the radar. But the price is way too much for us imo. Eriksen is a more likely cheaper purchase if this is the type we are after

it is concerning however that we are not linked with any decent final 3rd playmaker, someone who can unlock defences, a Silva/Mata/Cazorla/Coutinho type

From what i've seen of Mkhitaryan he would suit us far more than Eriksen. Eriksen to me looks like a player that can only play centrally but Mkhitaryan seems to roam everywhere...so much energy and very creative (although it's hard not to look impressive in that awesome Shakhtar team). Bernard seems to be a creative player that can roam to so the Mkhitaryan link makes sense.

yep, i like that team from a goals POV, and prefer Henrikh to Eriksen too. Still its the creativity is what bothers me. I think Willian had a hand in a lot of Shakhtar's goals

Was fine when Dempsey did something similar last summer, not quite AWOL, but had to train on his own I think?
From BBC: Forward Clint Dempsey will not be involved with Fulham's pre-season training camp in Switzerland this week.
Dempsey, 29, did not ask to be left out but held talks with manager Martin Jol and it was agreed he should remain in London and train with the youth team.
I guess we'll never know what really happened in any case like this. Mkhitaryan to Pool must be dependant on Suarez money IMO. If there's a 3rd party too, just don't see us being interested.

I have never seen mmmmbop play but I have seen Eriksen in the flesh for Ajax against city in the CL last year in Amsterdam. He ran the show and was the best player on the pitch that night. I'd rather we spent €10m on him! He would be a great addition for us.
