Hypothetically if you can improve on a player you do it and you don't ideally want other players filling in to areas that they are not at their strongest, thats counterproductive.

Personally as Bentancur is out till later in the year, I think we would look to wanna get the most out of Bissouma considering he is still a recent large acquisition and probably has more about him than PEH to play to the style required (similar to Brightons) and if we can flip and improve on the others then it would be PEH with Sarr having youth and development on his side and Skipp being highly dependable.

We are not in europe. He will hardly get any minutes. He needs to play senior football. When he has experience and can compete for a starting spot then have him in the squad at the moment he has about 5 players in front of him.

Maddison could drop back in there? It's where he'll play the majority of the time. If Ange use a similar system to what he's used before, the CM is the deepest, with LCM and RCM pushing up into the space between the CF and WF's. That's exactly the area Maddison usually operates in. He's not going to be one of the front 3.
 
The first comment under one of those tweets made me laugh.. Something like, "If Spurs are continuing with 3 at the back he could be a great signing" quickly followed by "We're not!"
 
Was hoping we got two new CBs but sounds like it will be this lad VDV and Lenglet. Disappointing if so as Lenglet was pretty mediocre last season.
