There won't be bidding wars for Maddison and Mount IMO. Mounts going to United for big dosh that won't be matched by anyone IMO and Maddison does not want to go to Saudi Sportswashing Machine. The others have all done their due diligence and said no thank you to Maddison too

I do though really think our front 6 is tied down - Bentancur, Bissouma, Porro, Kulusevski, Son and Kane. We've enough options at FB with the loan returnees (Spence and Udogie). It'll only be GK and LCB where we'll see new faces in our strongest 11
Yeah why would he - I mean Maddison scored more goals this year in a relegated side than Kulu has the season and a half he's been here at a better team. Has more assists this season in that relegated side aswell not having the benefit of Kane to supply. But sure, no contest....

If we play a hybrid of formations then they Deki and Him both get in the side with Maddison playing more central pulling strings.
Depends what Ange has in mind but you could easily see a 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 with the three of Son - Maddison - Deki
Im just throwing that out there as there are others that will know the managers history of formations better than me. But we have drastically lacked depth in the past, Son, Deki and Richi injury form is not sound either.

Maddison has never played for a top team, where defences routinely set deep against you. He has always been afforded more time and space that he'll get for us. We know Kulu can function very well at top 6 level, despite a few interuptions/stutters last winter

Yeh fair, but equally he played in a poor side this year and influenced goals in 19 of the 30 games he played either scoring or assisting. Thats fair going. We finished 8th last year, we are at the start of a rebuild, you have to take that IMO and look at it as a positive. We are not going to go out there and get the players that tick every single box.
You must be joking. Since he joined under Conte it is us who are sitting deep and letting the opposition come onto us

It's not just the continuously being wrong about stuff but the unbreakable level of self belief and unwillingness to change his mind in the face of any context/ evidence. Never change GB (I do agree / find a lot of what you post thought provoking in randomination but up here it's a brick show but it's obviously all just opinions, even if stated like facts.. ..)
